Coder Bob: how you'll get a website just by chatting

Website builders promise “no code”, but you still end up dragging boxes around for weekends. Agencies are expensive and slow. Coder Bob is a third way: you chat, he builds. He's coming soon — this is how he'll work.

1. Tell Bob about your business

What you do, for whom and where — in your own words, typed or spoken. Already have a website, a Facebook page or a booking page? Paste the links and Bob takes the texts, prices, opening hours and photos from there.

2. Pick a style — and anything extra

Bob asks how it should feel: clean and modern, warm and cosy, bold and colourful, elegant — or “like this site I love”. Then: anything else you want? A booking button, a price list, a gallery, a map.

3. Watch it being built

Bob picks the best of your photos, makes new professional ones where they're missing, plans the pages and builds them one by one. You see each page appear in the preview, on a computer or phone view.

4. Change it by chatting

“Make the top darker.” “Add our Sunday hours.” “Use the photo of the shop.” Bob changes it in about a minute — and “undo that” always works.

5. Go live on your own domain

One button puts the site online with a free address. Then Bob explains the two settings that connect your own domain, checks when it works, and turns on the padlock (https) automatically.
